After having announced that his forthcoming album Nothing Was The Same would be delayed a week from September 17th to September 24th Drake gave us something that would make the bad news of the delay a little better, as he released the album cover for his upcoming effort. The covers were designed by illustrator, artist, and author Kadir Nelson who is known for his work in Sports Illustrated, beverage company Coca-Cola, and The New York Times to name a few. The artist who is the creator of the cover for Michael Jackson's posthumous 2010 album Michael created 2 album covers for Drake's upcoming album one for the regular version of the album that represents a young Drake with a curly fro and a comb stuck in his hair and the other cover for the deluxe edition representing Drake in the present form with his grown up good looks, his perfect hair line, and features that fit him to the T. Drake who made the announcement of the album delay also made the announcement that he would be performing at the upcoming MTV VMA's at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York this Sunday August 25th.  Drizzy has yet to release a tracklisting for  his new album Nothing Was The Same but it has been confirmed that the album will host features from  Noah “40″ Shebib, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Hudson Mohawke, and Hit-Boy.
Nothing Was The Same SEPTEMBER 24th.
