Achieving a love for music at a young age Candice always dreamed of being involved with music in some way. Music, Hip Hop music in general has always been the embodiment of what makes her world go round. Her love for Hip Hop and seeing fellow bloggers write about music is what intrigued her to start her own site. She created a BlogSpot for leisure, which in turn became much more than something she enjoyed doing in her free time. She realized she wanted to be just like those bloggers that made this a career and it was then that she created www.CandiceMyLife.com. In spring of 2012 Candice made a transition with a new name for her site www.CandiceXO.com. The site is a reflection of her love for music and also gives credit to artists she loves and enjoys listening to. In running the site she hopes to promote and launch the careers of new artists, while continuing to create a stomping ground for artists, music, and especially Hip Hop. This site has become her catalyst for creating something that music lovers will be intrigued by enough to make it a go-to source for finding all of what they need in all types of music genres but Hip Hop in particular. Born and raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina Candice hopes to one day live out her dreams in a bigger city to continue her journey as a writer, and getting her foot in the door for some type of creative job in the music industry. She has aspirations of making a name for herself and gaining an audience and becoming a credible source for underground and mainstream music. XO
