New Music: Drake - "0 to 100/ Catch Up"

You know you have had a good weekend and are starting your new week off right when Drake drops a track on Sunday. The OVO King hosts production from Boi-1da and co-production from his usual sidekick Noah "40" Shebib and Nineteen85 on his new offering. Drizzy drops a few slick verses over an uptempo beat for "0 to 100" which eventually leads into a slower tempo for "The Catch Up".

New Music: Drake - "Draft Day" & "Days In The East"

Just when we think life could not get any better Drake asks us "Would We Like A New Track", and then drops two back to back. Only a day apart the OVO King drops his first track a Boi-1da, Ducko McFli, and Syk Sense- produced Lauryn Hill-sampled cut "Draft Day" just in time for the upcoming NFL Draft Day, and is dedicated to Drake's new friend Johnny Manziel. Drake also gives Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence a shout out in the track insinuating a possible crush. Drizzy dropped his second track "Days In The East" a day later with production from his OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR and his go to producer and engineer Noah "40" Shebib. The track samples Rihanna's song "Stay" and is said to reference the time Erykah Badu invited him over for a spot of tea to talk about love. Who's to say it is really about Erykah when clearly as of late his possible rekindled love affair with Rihanna has been in the news. Maybe the track is referencing his love affair with Rih or maybe it is just some of Champagne Papi's thoughts that get people thinking who knows, but one thing I do know is the kid from Toronto has me beyond intrigued.

Drake Hosts & Performs On "Saturday Night Live"

The OVO King Drake was the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this past week which was a pretty big gig to do the hosting and performing. The Toronto native found himself in various skits as he was getting his Mazel Tov on with his bar-mitzvah rap, channeling the right A-Rod character, doing an impersonation of his Young Money mentor Lil Wayne, becoming a wizard, and being an obnoxious Dad while being harassed by his daughters friend. The rapper took to the stage two different times to perform some of his hits as his first performance was him performing his songs "Started From The Bottom" and Trophies. Drizzy's second performance was of his songs "Hold On We're Going Home" and "From Time" where he brought out Jhené Aiko to perform with him. His hosting and performing were nothing short of perfect and it was such a pleasure to see Aubrey able to get back to his acting roots. Check the performances and some of the skits below.

New Music: Drake - "Trophies"

Drake ~ Trophies

We can wake up now and listen to Drake's new track "Trophies" that just 4 days ago he said he would give us, but we'd have to wait on it. Now without further ado take a listen to "Trophies", the OVO King's second newest release that he has delivered within the last week. The first track that the Nothing Was The Same rapper gave us just a mere 4 days ago was the collaboration with Soulja Boy the "We Made It" remix.

New Music: Drake Feat. Soulja Boy - "We Made It" (Remix)

Drake went on one of his limited word Twitter fests last night that also appeared via his Facebook account and with that fest came his new track "We Made It" the remix featuring Soulja Boy. He also gave a Rest In Peace to Grand Hussle's rapper Doe B as he was shot and killed in the wee hours of the morning in Alabama. Drake also hinted at the fact that his track "Trophies" would be the next track that he would drop, however, it would be at a later time after telling fans "Trophies later I meant...go to sleep". Take a listen to Drake's "We Made It" featuring Soulja Boy below.

"A Day Late" Melodic Monday: Drake - "The Motion"

Melodic Monday arrives a day late this week with a track from none other than the OVO man himself Drake and as he would say "Better Late Than Never But Never Late Is Better". If you purchased the Best Buy Copy of Drake's new album Nothing Was The Same then you got "The Motion" as an added bonus. If you purchased the regular deluxe edition then you just got the two extra bonuses, either way here is "The Motion" for your listening pleasure as this weeks "A Day Late" Melodic Monday.

Changed up the lyrics just a bit so put yourself in my place. Besides Drake always says he makes the type of music that both a male and female perspectives can relate to and I will say this is one of those cases. #ThatIsAll

"It's not me and you, it's not me it's you
You're reckless and you know it, they don't love you like I do
Say you're moving on, well, I guess that's just the motion
I guess that's just the motion"

"Yeah, looking back on it at least my pride is intact
Cause we said no strings attached and I still got tied up in that
Everything that I write is either for him or about him
So I'm with him even when I'm here without him and he know it
The guy that I wanna save is like a danger to my health
Try being with somebody that wanna be somebody else
I always thought he was perfect when he was being himself
Don't even know how to help, but I guess that's just the motion"

He'll probably come around
Soon as I settle down, that's the motion
Oh-oh, I guess that's just the motion"
