Beyoncé's 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Performance & Video Vanguard Award

Last night belonged to Beyoncé at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards and she showed us why as the audience and viewers at home waited patiently for Bey to take center stage. Bey had the best performance in VMA history last night with her sixteen minute performance of several songs from her 2013 self-titled album Beyoncé. That performance included tons of action, sultry dance moves, and a tribute to her daughter that showcased personal home video footage on the backdrop screen of her little family. After her performance the songstress was presented the Video Vanguard Award by her husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. The night was quite emotional for Queen Bey as she was clearly full of tearful happiness as the songstress accepted her speech by saying "I'm so full, thank you. I have nothing to say but that I'm filled with so much gratitude and I just thank God for this moment," she said. "I love y’all so much. Blue Blue, I love you. My beloved, I love you. My fans, I love you. MTV, I love you. Goodnight." The rumors can rest now because this one was one for the books and ages.

New Music: "Drunk In Love" Remixes Kanye, T.I., The Weeknd, Diplo, & Future

Beyoncé's track "Drunk In Love" is already a hit and has been since her album dropped back in December but something good can be made even better with remixes. Kanye West lit fire for the official remix with his possible subliminal lyrics that he put on display in the track. More remixes followed from the King of the South T.I., Diplo, The Weeknd, and Future. Take a listen below and pick your favorite remix, I know my favorite has got to be Ye's version.

J. Cole Gets Chained On His 29th Birthday

Yesterday was not just J Cole's 29th Birthday, yesterday was also Cole's show a Madison Square Garden in NYC and probably one of the biggest highlights of his career thus far. The Dreamville and Roc Nation rapper kept the guest appearances at his show to a minimum by inviting Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z to appear on stage with him during the show. The biggest moment of the night was when HOV took the stage to perform his hit "P.S.A." from The Black Album with the North Carolina native and presented him with his very first and original Rock-A-Fella chain. The Roc Nation boss man finished the whole party with another hit we know all to well, "F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt". I'd say Jermaine had a Dreamville of a birthday.

Jay-Z Speech - 2014 GRAMMY Winner Best Rap / Sung Collaboration

Jay Z was the winner for the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the Grammy's last night and his speech was by far my favorite of any winner last night. As Hov won the award he was all smiles while taking the stage for his acceptance speech and what he said during that speech melted my heart. Hov's love for Bey and Blue should have everyone smitten.
"I want to thank God I mean a little bit for this award but mostly for that in all the universe for conspiring and putting that beautiful light of a young lady in my life"
"And I want to tell Blue look Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you"

Grammy 2014 Performance Beyoncé feat. Jay Z - "Drunk In Love"

One of the most anticipated moments of the Grammy's for me was Beyoncé's performance with her hubby Jay Z for the most part because I was dying to see them perform my favorite song "Drunk In Love" live. Tonight it happened and the show could have been over after their performance because it was just that great, they were amazing.

Melodic Monday: Jay Z - Young Forever - featuring Beyonce (Live at Coachella)

This song will NEVER get old especially the original version with Mr. Hudson. However, when I seen the performance that Hov and Bey had done at Coachella it gave me the goosies (goose bumps). "Young Forever" is the fourth single from Jay Z's Blueprint 3 and is a rework of Alphaville's 1984 classic "Forever Young". The song is produced by rapper and producer extraordinaire Kanye West. The video for the original version (featured below) was directed by the incredibly talented  Anthony Mandler and showcases youth in America, while flashing various scenes of Jay-Z performing the song with Mr. Hudson.
