Throwback Thursday: J. Cole - "Work Out"

To celebrate the fact that J. Cole's Born Sinner album is the number 1 album in the country right now I wanted to deliver an oldie but goodie for the Throwback Thursday today with Cole's track "Work Out". The track is the lead single from his 2011 debut studio album Cole World: The Sideline Story. This was the song that Cole referred to in the track "Let Nas Down" from his new album Born Sinner when he said: "Dion called me when it dropped, sounded sad but sincere Told me Nas heard your single and he hate that sh*t Said you the one, yo why you make that sh*t I can't believe I let Nas down" After hearing the song "Let Nas Down" Nas recorded his own lyrics over the track and titled it "Made Nas Proud", where he told Jermaine that he did not let him down, instead he made him proud. So again congrats to the man with the number 1 album Mr. Born Sinner himself J.Cole for giving us music that we love and can remember you by on Throwback Thursday, You Make Us Proud.
